Do you still believe in the marriage of a man and a woman? Or, is living together the best way? Or, it is none of this writer's business? Living together is not God's will. God's will is Holy Matrimony! In Genesis 2:18, the Bible reads, "It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him." Adam was alone on the earth. God created a woman as a helpmate! The same still holds for people who are living in today's world.
The marriage account continues in Genesis 2:24, "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother to be joined to his wife,and they shall become one flesh." Yes, joined to his wife! The Bible alludes to other ways, but they are listed as sins in Galatians 5:19-21, especially "adultery, fornication." A sin is rebelling against God. Where did marriage come from, anyway? God and His Word! The family unit has been attacked in many ways! When God and marriage are pushed aside by society, we are going the wrong way.
The love between a man and a woman is a great mystery, according to Paul in Ephesians 5:31-32. May God's Word and marriage between a man and a woman make a true comeback in America! This writer has been married to his wife, Isabel, for fourteen years! The Bible says I am to love my wife, which I do! She is truly my helpmate in many ways. I am to stay married to her "till death do us part!" Let's put the family back together and say "I do" at the altar! Marriage is God's way!
